My sisters are hosting a bridal shower for my future DIL. They are having a kitchen themed shower. We mailed out a recipe card with the invitation. So everyone could bring a favorite recipe to share with the bride.
Going along with the theme I have been making dishcloths for gift favors for all who attend the shower.
I also saw the smaller size bottle of Dawn dish soap on sale. So I bought enough for all the guests.
My sister takes our dad to train shows. At every train show there is a lady who crochets scrubbies while her DH sells items. So my sister bought scrubbies from the lady for everyone at the shower.
But now we have to put together the dishcloth, the dish soap and the scrubbies.
We are trying to come up with a clever way to do this. We can always just use gift bags. But were hoping someone out there could help us come up with something cute.
Any ideas?

You can crochet colourful baskets to fit all 3 things and tie with a co ordinating ribbon . For ideas you can go to ...thingsdeeloves . Sorry not able to post the link .

What about knitting a half apron to fit the soap bottle, with pockets, fill the pockets with the scrubbies. Or wrap the dishcloth around the soap bottle with a pretty ribbon, and put the scrubbies under the ribbon to hold it.

An apron that would fit the small size bottle of Dawn is too small to have a pocket large enough to hold a dish cloth and scrubbie. I think it would be cute wrapped around the bottle with a pretty ribbon and use the scrubbie for the bow. Or depending on the size of the dishcloth could the bottle stand upright in the center of the cloth with the corners pulled up and tied at the top? Great idea for shower favors no matter what you come up with.

Try picking up the dish cloth in the middle. And then grasping half way down turn it over should look something Lille a flower, put you scrubby aroun bottom as like wrapping a Boucher and tie it on

I have seen small and even miniature tote bags in the local Jo-Ann. Made of twill or muslin. Some are dyed, others not. I have used the minis to hold a washcloth and a nice soap. The bags are plain, meant to be decorated as you want--fabric paints? Patches? Buttons or other décor? Write each guest's name with a fabric marker?
