I believe that she is saying We will increase.. as in "we'll increase" but forgot the apostrophe.. Perhaps I am wrong.. but don't think so.grams743 said:

Could it possibly mean the increases be in the "well", that is
in the trough between? I am only guessing.

Looks like it should have been we'll increase, judging by the conversational way she has written the instructions.
It just looks like a split infinitive to me. Also, knits is plural
and should not be possessive.
