They are beautiful. I am trying to knit an entrelac sweater for myself. When I finish knitting a square, at the corner where I picked up the first stitch, the fabric always sticks up. Is this normal and will it flatten when I block it? I am a self taught knitter and have no one to ask this question of. What are your thoughts on this?

I am not sure exactly what the problem is. You could try picking up the stitch right through the knot on the edge of the square.
I never, ever block entrelac because I think part of the charm of this technique is the puffiness of it, and blocking destroys that.

Over the years I have made probably 20 sweaters in entrelac and some are now in a thrift shop. I made most of the sweaters for myself but I made over $2000 for a charity selling the hats, some of which are on my avatar.
Have also made vests, scarves, etc. To say it is addictive is an understatement! I have to force myself to do any other kind of knitting.
I had never been able to post a picture on KP until today and my granddaughter is visiting me and she did it for me.
