I like this pattern a lot and want to knit it. I have some questions that I hope you can help me with: 1. I searched for the yarn on Paton's website and couldn't find it. Is it DK weight, if not, what weight is it? 2. Do you think I could knit this in the round? 3. What cast on did you use? Thanks for your help. Aloha... Bev

I have used DK each time I've made it. I have always done it in the round - take out the two k1s outside the repeat. The other change I have made is to do the band in rib as I don't like the garter stitch band - I cast on 100 sts on 3.75mm (5) needles, rib 12 rows, then increase the next row up to 152 sts and carry on from there. (Never met a pattern I didn't tweak.)
