Well don't rush it, take each day as it comes give yourself time to heal. I've just been sat out side for an hour I took my knitting and I was sat with the cat one side and on dog the other and the birds chattering loudly. :D
Temperatures are definitely up it makes a nice change

it can take up to 2 months for the anesthetic effects to wear off ie the fatigue, the lack of energy and memory. I could read a page 5 times and still not remember the line I was reading. please take the time to relax and recover.

Been there myself several times - gall bladder included! Seems like the only time I was dying to knit was when my right hand was in a cast after thumb reconstruction! Enjoy your garden; rest is best for your body right now & everyone is right: You & your needles will be back together soon!

Having had gall bladdar surgery years ago I can remember feeling very tired afterward and not wanting to do much of anything either. I felt like I got run over by a truck when I woke up. It has to do with the angle they have you on the table when doing the surgery. Also they fill you up with gas to keep your organs in place while they are operating. It takes a bit for all that to come out of your system and you to start feeling normal again. Be kind to yourself. Your body just underwent a major surgery and needs time to heal. After the pain I went through before the surgery, afterward was a couple weeks of rest and then I was better than normal!!! So you don't knit for a couple weeks, the world won't stop and you will get back to it once you are rested and feel better. Take a snuggly blanket, cuddle up on the couch or your favorite chair, watch some good movies, drink some nice tea and rest. There is nothing that is going to get up and run away if you don't get to it immediately. Hugsssssss and get well soon! Tess =)
