I have been knitting for several years...but when I started knitting handbags I just could not stop! First I love the soft feel of the yarn...I love the way these bags hug your body and unlike the designer bags of today they are so light weight! Creating and designing these bags certainly keep my creative juices flowing! Here are a couple of my Handbags, check out more on my WebSite...www.notyourmamasknittin.com
I MADE ONE AT CHRISTMAS TIME AND GAVE IT AWAY AS A PRESENT, IT WAS FUN TO DO AND TURNED OUT SO CUTE. I LOVE TO FELT THINGS (IF YOU MAKE A MISTAKE IT DOESN'T SHOW). I HAVE MADE FELTED FLOWERS TOO AND THEY ARE LOVELY DONE UP TOO. OUR GROUP AT THE LIBRARY PLANS ON DOING SLIPPERS IN APRIL AND I AM ANXIOUSLY AWAITING ON THAT CLASS. YOUR PURSES ARE SO LOVELY. WHERE DID YOU GET THE PATTERNS? HAPPY KNITTING
Love the bags. Have made several felted bags and have found I can use up leftover wools, Could you share the pattern for the celtic flower? It would add so much to a plain bag.
Those are great looking bags. Since I started felting, I rarely knit anything that can't be felted. I make purses too and I sell them. It helps support my yarn addiction.
