thanks I feel better about all the scrap yarn that went into it now. I was kind of uncertain about the colors. I had no labels to go by so will ask my daughter to hand wash them and lay flat to dry, as I know the yarn is all different, so hope that will work out for her.

other than it taking longer because of using fingering weight yarn and size one needles....the pattern was very basic and easy. I'm not sure on the pattern, but think it was a free one. However, since i'm not sure if it was free, but fairly sure it was... or where in my disorganized world i may have saved it, I could try and type out how to make it. It is real easy. I just added in the extra yarn, making sure I had enough. If you will pm me, I will type it out for you to try.

I love this! Would you send basic pattern please?! I knit things like this for the homeless. They love them! I'm tired of the pattern I use and need a change. My knit cLass starts in 2 weeks. I teach little girls how to do things like this.
