The pattern is MORGAN HAT found at. http://knitty.com/ISSUEfall08/PATTmorgan.html I used cotton yarn I found at Big Lot and had to use a size US 3 needle to get the gauge. I was glad it was a stainless steel needle because there was a part of the pattern the would have broken bamboo needles. The same part was very hard to do, and took me weeks. I may have done it wrong, because there was another section. like the hard first one, and I breezed through it. Because I couldn't stand to work on THE HAT, and I would find something more pressing to do; it took all spring and summer to do. I will make an other one with better yarn.
