I recently posted a picture of my first polar bear, and now I have just finished a titch bear and a pocket bear - well almost. As you will see I still have their noses to put on. I am very pleased with the result and found the patterns very easy to follow as usual. Both are patterns by Gypsycream. I don't really like sewing them together though - find that quite hard to do, but the end result is worth it I think.

I have aleady knitted another three pocket bears and one titch bear but have yet to sew them up - that's for another day :)

They look great...........even without their noses! I just put picts of my new kitty up, and he did not want his ears attached!! They rule though and whatever they like is what they get! Right????????? These guys are so cute.

Sounds like you have caught the Gypsycream bug! I love her patterns and have just recently completed my first two pocket bears. Didn't know at first if I would like making such small ones but after my first I was hooked! Love being able to use up leftovers from larger bears on them. Yours came out cute.

thanks everyone. Yes, I am definitely hooked on gypsycream bears. I do find her patterns very easy to follow. I thought at first that the pocket bear would be finicky to knit, but it really isn't. Like I said, I just don't like the sewing up. I am going to make several of the pocket bears for my friends for Christmas - I will make boxes for each of them. Think they will make a really nice gift.

They are a great knit and take very little yarn. Like you I'm thinking Christmas and possibly making them for the residents in the nursing home where I work part time. I think they would like them.

Good job. Each one has a distinctive personality - that may change when noses are added.
If any little people may be in residence where the bear will be living, you may want to embroider nose with dark yarn or floss.

Do you know I've only just come across these beautiful bears and note I didn't comment on them! So sorry, I was away on holiday when you posted and must have missed them.

They are both stunning! I can't believe you are new to knitting bears because you are a natural!!
