It is just fine the way it is.... Not fun to pull out. I think some people use the second yarn to make knitting easier to see stitches. The finished product may be a little smaller, but who cares. I personally like just using the fur......

I think it will be ok as it is. I wouldn't frog it...

I'm trying to try worsted yarn and larger needles just to get the hang of the pattern. I found the fun fur to be no fun at all. Made me growl and I scared the cat. Hopefully I will progress.

I did my first bear on larger needles just to practice - lovely bear, just rather large - then I switched to the correct size needles and have made loads of bears, bunnies and a puppy with the fun fur and they've all turned out fine. Mind you, I have sewn up a couple of little holes occasionally when I've dropped a stitch and not been able to find it! It doesn't show. Have a go. You'll be fine! Post a photo when you've finished and see how many compliments you get. lol :)

Depending on the pattern, you really don't have to use another yarn with the fun fur. The trick is using a small enough stitch to hold the stitches close enough for the fur to cover. Fun fur is a "beast" to frog.
Love your pun about the "beast" that fun fur can be!! Shows taht knitters have a true sense of humor! :-D

I was working on a bear with the fun fur (the very long eyelash type)and I had to put it away for a bit and work on something else. I had ground my teeth down to nubs, growled, lost my religion and cussed the dog, and decided I needed a break. Don't even try to frog, that yarn does not like frogs at all! Now, I am the type who does not like for anything to beat me, and so, I will go back, after a long time on my knees with the greatest knitter and ask for guidance and a good dose of patience! :)
Hope you stick with it, because the yarn is very forgiving on mistakes and it does make the most beautiful bears.
