I have noticed on one of Garnstudio's diagrams that at the neck measurement numbers an alphabetical "ca" appears. Could anyone once again explain it to me. Thanks for all the help I have received on KP lately.

I haven't seen the diagrams, but when using 'ca' followed by a number it might mean 'about' or 'roughly' as in approximately.

Maybe you might provide the link to the specific pattern that's puzzling you? I know I've seen that in some of their patterns, but I can't find one with it right now.

Hi Jessica . . . thank very much for response. Have a look at Baby Drops on Garnstudio number 17-4 on the diagram. It would love to know what the alpha 'caindicates. Karen
The relative link is: http://www.garnstudio.com/lang/us/pattern.php?id=3955&lang=us
As for the meaning of "ca10-12", maybe it does just mean about (as in circa, often abbreviated as ca.), but maybe not. If you go to the "Direct pattern search" on this page: http://garnstudio.com/lang/us/kategori_oversikt.php , you'll see that you have the choice between 'search' and 'help'. Perhaps clicking on 'help' will get you the necessary explanation. Or, you could search for the pattern on Ravelry and see if anyone who has already done it knows the meaning.

Could that ca 10-12 have something to do with the circumference of the neck?
