It's brain fog, senior moment, I can't remember anything. Recently someone mentioned a brand of German circular knitting needle they loved, made of wood, the brand beginning with the letters H & S (goodness, I can remember that much?) What is the actual name of these needles please?

While in San Jose at Purlessence knit shop, I met the author of "Wrapped in Comfort: Knitted Lace Shawls", Alison Jeppson Hyde (a lovely lady) and she uses these needles, loves them and the smoothness of the wood was far superior to the Cubix I was trying at that moment. The Cubix are a topic for another discussion at a later time.

I'm sure someone will remember the name.

I immediately thought of Harmony and Symphonie knitting needles, which are wood but not German (think they are made in India and sold by an American company). Might that have been it?

I'm in France. I stock Knitpro Harmony needles. They came from India and the European Knitpro office is in Germany. Knitpro is the European version of Knitpicks.

Addi is a German company. I've never tried their wooden circulars, but they do have them. Love their metal needles!
