I have been gifted a HUGE amount of yarn from a dear friend's mother who no longer knits. She purchased yarn from her worldwide travels, there is yarn from UK, New Zealand, Italy, France etc.

My gf only brought me what she described as 1/8th of the stash....goodness....

I'm trying to begin to categorize and research as I have never heard of most of these.

One in specific that I can't find info on is Gamine, The summer tweed from Reynolds, tag says made in France exclusively for Reynolds Yarns. It's a 40 gram/60 yard hank of 55% cotton 27% Viscose, and 18% wool. There are approx 20 hanks.

Has anyone ever heard of this? I'm thinking about patterns and wondering about the drape, etc.

Oh Wow! For a yarnaholic this is not a good picture to see! I feel like I must hurry and buy more before it is all gone!

What a marvelous friend you have! Have fun and please let us see what you are making with all of it.
