Leaving tomorrow for a 2 week vacation to Hatteras Island, NC.
Packing my yarn. Do you think I have enough? Lol. I also have my 2 needle cases and my odds and ends( markers, 4 different types, row counters, crochet hooks, etc).

The one on the needles now is Berroco Sox, metallic,as far as color all it says is1308. The yarn is made in Italy and I got it at a LYS in SC when visiting my son.

During the day I am at the beach, no knitting. I knit in the morning before the beach and at night. Also need something in case it rains.

Just added more yarn for a sweater. Boughten the yarn last year when on vacation. The thing is who know what I'll feel like knitting. Have to hide all this from my partner. Lol

We went to Ocracoke in September. It is really nice there. We go to Hatteras 2 weeks in June and 2 weeks in September. This is the 4th year so we really don't do much site seeing. It is so beautiful there and relaxing. The sound out back and the ocean across the street.
There is a shop down on 12 called the blue pelican( I think) and they have yarn, not that I need any but always have to look ( which is dangerous for me).

What are friendship squares?

There is a group "12" friendship squares blanket" with Cindy. I think we have 4 months left. We knit 2 12" squares a month and send them to a partner. At the end ( in October) you put together the squares and you have your " friendship blanket".

I go to kitty hawk in August with my grandchildren, ages 2 months, 7 ,8, and two 10 year olds. Grandma takes a break and goes to knitting addiction. Never get out of the store without buying.
