Hi to All,
I am preparing to retire. I have taken several knitting classes and I am still learning. I have knitted two shawls that were started from the bottom. The Grania shawl starts at the top and I am having a hard time getting started past the 7-stitch cast on. Reading the chart is no problem. Can someone help me get started? Please!!!

Hi Nita...Welcome to KP!

I don't know anything about the Grania pattern but I think you might get some help if you posted your question in the "Main" category that is specific to knitting and crochet topics. I believe someone will see your question there and will try to help you.

Hi and welcome to Paradise. No matter how many years we have been knitting we always have something new to learn. As your pattern is a pay for shawl it would be helpful if you could give us the rows you are having problems with. Just copy them exactly as written and post the question in the main section. Not the entire pattern, just a few rows.

Looked it up on Ravelry, but it's not a free pattern, so I couldn't read the instructions. If you could give us the part that has you stumped, someone will certainly be able to help!
