I have searched all over the internet and yarn departments for a baby layette made with granny squares. I remember seeing them when I was knitting and crocheting for my children and grandchildren but now that I have great grandchildren on the way, I can't find even one. Can any one help me?

Glad this was of help to you. It was uncanny that I had just read your request prior to going onto ebay to browse the patterns and was thinking that it was a lovely set when I realised that was the type of pattern you were looking for.

My crochet granny square baby afghan, as seen in Picture is made out of topple crochet, except for the 'chain 4' to start the granny square. Hope this helps. You can make it as big as you like,

Hi Mainiac, I love the technique she used also by splitting the rows of squares with double or treble sts. It just adds so much interest. Very nice work.
