I have searched all over the internet and yarn departments for a baby layette made with granny squares. I remember seeing them when I was knitting and crocheting for my children and grandchildren but now that I have great grandchildren on the way, I can't find even one. Can any one help me?

I really like the way you split rows of squares with double or maybe treble?) crochet. I will do something similar. Thanks for the idea.

My crochet granny square baby afghan, as seen in Picture is made out of topple crochet, except for the 'chain 4' to start the granny square. Hope this helps.You can make it as big as you like,
