Hello Sally! Thanks for welcoming me!
Welcome.,
You are goning to love this group. There is so much talent here and knowledge!! Just ask anything.
I'm in WET/Sleet/ snowy CT. A most miserable day for the 1st full day of spring.
SO I knit. Am working on an alpace scarf, very lacy, 15 row repeat. Slow because the yarn is very thin.

Miserable here on the Cape too. Snow has now changed to rain. I'm working on a basic cardigan with a diamond lace front. Nothing too complicated and its knitting up pretty fast.
I have no idea where you are going in Alaska, but knitting certainly will help you stay sane in the middle of the winters!!! That and the internet so you can remember there are real people left in the world by the end of January.
You will need it. I love the Cape, visited a few times, never did get to the potato chip factory.
Saw the sea pups on the beach once.

I am in Harwich so we are really close.

Where are you getting your yarn? I have always gone to Adventures in Knitting in Harwich Port as they are so close but have started to check out Ladybug in Dennis.

Just to keep it social am going to start the knitting class on Wed Eve at Adventures in knitting at 6 30- one of my friends in Chatham has been going.

Pam
Hi Kerry,

After 54 summers of visiting the Cape we are now in the final stages of a purchase. Lol Better late then never.

Do you go to the yarn shop in Dennis? Ladybug or something like that?

Where are you on the Cape? We'll be in Wellfleet on the bay side. My daughter has worked at the Pearl in the summer.

How about Cuffy's? I used to just love that outlet! I haven't been to the Cape in years, but, have a trip planned for early May.
