I started learning to knit when I was in Germany over 40 years ago by a German neighbor. I enjoy knitting mostly anything without using a pattern. Now I am working on knitted Christmas stockings for my four granddaughters. I use cross stitch patterns to knit into the stockings. I also enjoy making puppets with or without a pattern.
