Grounds for Divorce

I am so sad this morning. We have just been away on a small trip, and when we got there my mosaic blanket was nowhere to be found. We stopped twice on the way there, and I am thinking my husband dropped it out of the car when he moved my craft bag to put some beer in the back seat. I backtracked but nobody has handed it in at the two places we stopped on our way there. I have just contacted the local radio station to put it on their Lost and Found broadcast, so finger crossed. It would mean nothing to some-one else, perhaps they picked it up and kept it for a dog blanket, but it mean't the world to me.

How long did you need to give him the kiss of life for Mary?

The fairies were to blame.

I honestly do not think you put it in the bottom of your knitting basket and forgot it or lost it there; I think the fairies borrowed it and when they say how upset you were they returned it to the bottom of your knitting basket. Happens to me all the time. I think I have lost something and then remember the mischievous fairies are always borrowing things. I just ask them to return the missing item when they have finished with it. And yes, the item then suddenly turns up in a place I had checked and rechecked.

You must remember to thank the fairies for returning your blanket otherwise their feelings may be hurt.
It won’t be the Fairies, they are mostly kind little beings.
This will be down to the Elves who are a real mischievous bunch, in fact it could also be the Pixies. They are also mischievous but they do resemble Fairies to look at and that’s why real Fairies get blamed for any misdeeds. 🧚

My husband and I have decided that the quickest way to find anything is to blame the item's misplacement on each other. "Where did you put my...?" is a common question around here. In fact, he's even taken to suggesting it when I'm looking for my glasses.
Exactly what happens in our house, he is also excellent at finding 0.2mm beads on the carpet, or shaggy rug.
