I am working on sock #2 with sweet tomato heel. I guess I concentrated on heel too much, frogged it twice before I got it right. I was all the way to toe shaping when I realized that I forgot to knit ribbing for cuff. So I started at cast on edge and tinked 12 rows of waffle pattern stitch by stich and then knit the 12 rows of ribbing for cuff. Satisfied with my accomplishment, I proceeded to toe shaping. Before I did kitchener, I measured with sock #1, and found I was abaout 1 inch too short. Never measure by striping pattern!! Now I have to frog toe shaping. My mother always said the more you ravel out the longer the item will wear. I guess these socks will last forever. Grrrr
