I've been seriously knitting for about 10 years, after only crocheting and embroidering. I love my portable projects, so much so that I'm actually heading to the shore this morning with my circular, sleeveless vest in tow!
Any other Jersey knitters out there?

Flemington,,,I 've had some hours of knitting at the beach,,,remember a lot of women in the seventies doing the same. Best time of the year at the Jersey shore. No crowds, warm days and cool nights!!! Hope you enjoy, I'm jealous.

Hi and welcome to the forum. I am from Jersey outside of Trenton. I love the shore also. I don't sit on the beach anymore but I love to play in the Arcades for points. I save them and get things for the Special Olympics of Penna. to which one of my best friends is very active in. We have a great time. Again happy beach knitting.

Hi Karen: Welcome--you will love this site. I am from Middlesex County, Central NJ, Milltown to be exact.I am just home from the shore, where I completed my 74 year there, in Lavallette. Same street--where my Father built us a house when I was seven years old----81 now, still on the beach and still knitting!!!!!!

Hi Neighbor! I live in Medford and am a relatively new member. This site is addicting and quite inspiring. Since joining I have finished a few projects that had been packed away and have/am taking knitting classes in Haddonfield (I'm sure you know Danique). In the KP Offline Announcement section, I've noticed there is a knitting group that meets at Starbuck's, Marlton on a weekly basis - I think on Thursdays. I work, so am unable to join. FYI - I believe they meet in early afternoon. Well, too many words here - what I mean to say is WELCOME!!
