If you're looking for a quick knit for a Christmas gift this adult-sized hat uses less than 200 yards of Cascade 220 (or any other worsted/aran-weight yarn). It's an easy two-color Fair Isle-style pattern that looks great in many color combinations!
This was knit for an adult size large (up to 24 inches - or 61cm). The actual finished size is 19-1/2 inches in circumference and 9-1/2 inches from the bottom of the band to the top of the crown (49.5x24cm).
What a beautiful hat, Mike. Such an interesting cast on that gives a great edging. I really like that you have a matching cowl pattern available too. You are a master at Fair Isle. Geraldine

It is beautiful Mike..I have never tried fair isle because Intarsia was very challenging for me once... and once only! I truly admire any and everyone who can do fairisle and your creations always have fab tension without any gathering. Really gorgeous!
