A few weeks ago someone posted some texting mitts. I thought it a great idea and decided to knit a pair but added a hole for a finger to make texting easier.
Yarn is Hayfield Spirit DK. To ensure that stripping on mittens were the same, I started with the same colour on both.
Both hat and mittens are knitted in the round and the rib is fisherman's rib..... The 'K' stitch being k1b.

Brilliant! a few years back I made mits with that silvery thread that has metal in it so she could 'operate' the screen of her phone. This is more practical.
