My name is Shauna and I've been learning how to knit the last few months. An ex-coworker of mine has been teaching me and now she is moving to Alaska and I won't have her to help me with my knitting issues, which I am really bummed about! So I'm glad I found this place so if I get in a jam hopefully someone will be able to help me out.

I have 2 girls who are also learning to knit. They are 7 and soon to be 11. They are amazing. So that's a little about me. Looking forward to meeting all of you.

I'm new to this site too. Welcome!

I've been knitting and crocheting since 1964. I like to do afghans scarves, hats and house slippers. I've never made a sweater but hope to.
