Hi, my name is Kari. I am new to knitting. I have not finished anything yet, but I have started 3 scarfs. My friend introduced me to knitting, and now I am infatuated with it. I am a gemini, and get bored easily, well not so much bored, but just want to get into something else. So that is why I have a few started. Plus I am teaching myself, so I am buying new material, and needles. I only know how to make scarves now. I taught myself how to cast on, and bind off. My friend's mother taught her, and she is the one who started the first one for me, but after a while, it had holes, and was bigger, so I unwrapped it, and now use the yarn for practice. I only knit the knit stitch, and I am practicing the purl stitch. I want to move on to hats, mittens, and blankets. My cousin is having a baby boy in June, and I am gonna attemted to knit a blanket for her and him. I am happy to join this family of knitters, and look foward to chatting with you all and get and give(eventually give) some advice. Thank you for future help and chat.
