I just learned to knit about 3 yrs ago. My mother taught me to crochet when I was 10yrs old, so 30 + yrs later a lady I worked with took the time to teach me to knit and I learned how to do the dishcloths. I've made quite a few, given some away as Christmas presents to people I worked with. Once I got the hang of it, I couldn't stop. I've only done the knit stitch and some purling, sometimes have went on-line to learn the purl again because I don't do that one very often. I've also made a couple afagans from just the knit stitch and have taught my step-daughter to knit. We both love it and feel it's very relaxing. Hopefully I can learn more stitches without getting frustrated.
