I'm a semi-experienced knitter and right now I'm stuck on socks. I'm working on a pair of entrelac socks that are just GORGEOUS! I usually work my socks toe-up, 2-at-a-time. There's a good pattern on Ravelry for that.

I also crochet and I have several projects going right now, including an afghan done in Tunisian crochet which will invove cross-stitching a pattern on the finished product. I got that pattern fron the Lion Brand web site. It'll probably take years to finish it, but what the heck!

Welcome from a beginner knitter (though I learned 40 years ago)...I just didn't do much with it for a very long time. I'm happy that I dug out my old needles and love learning new things. This site is great. I've learned a lot from so many "experienced knitters".
I'm also in NC....Winston Salem area : )
