My name is Ursula. My grandmother taught me how to knit when I was 6 (oh, I remeber the tears!) which means I have been knitting for a long time. I did slow down when my 3 girls were at an age when they didn't find hand-knits very cool anymore and their sweaters made way to sweatshirts. That was the time when I went back to work and I had no time anyway.
I am retired now and, although I am an avid gardener, like skiing and biking, there is still lots of time left for my old hobby - knitting. I have 4 grand-daughters so I use a lot of pink. I try to sell them on some of my stash but they always come back to pink. So I keep on buying. I am looking forward to exchanging with you all. I hope to get inspired and learn from you all for, although I knit, I lack imagination.
