I've been knitting for many many years (since I was 13; now it's likely I won't see 50 again!). I jump between knitting and quilting. I've been on a shawl/scarves/hats kick lately because they're quick to do and I can use up my leftovers. I'm looking forward to discovering what I find here.

Welcome from sunny Surrey in the UK. I also do quilting but at the moment it's all knitting with me. Enjoy the forum and happy knitting.

Welcome from Sebastian, Florida. It is already way too hot here in Fla for April. 96 last weekend. Each day it's been at least 85.

I've been knitting since I was 10 and I won't see 60 again. LOL I also do a lot of crocheting. It seems when my hands hurt from knitting, I go to crocheting and it gives them a rest. I guess you use different muscles for each of these crafts.

I've tried to sew for quite some time. Straight stitching I can handle. I did a Queen size bedspread machine quilted it Many years ago I hand quilted. Just love how quilts look

Blessings,
Linda
