Hello from a fellow Wisconsinite--This is a very interesting site. I live in Lake Mills between Madison and Milwaukee. My favorite spot to buy yarn is ebay.

A few months ago I had joined the website and told everyone where I was from. It appeared to me that no one really cared because I never got any WELCOME TO SITE RESPONSES. Everyone else who joins seems to get responses back to them. I thought this to be very rude, That is why I do not reply much to the website. Disappointed.

63, I'll say sorry for the forum. I wasn't a member yet at that time but I am now. Please give us another try. I know sometimes I get so busy I'm lucky to sit down and just read without responding to anything. Had a couple of weeks like that during the last of March and early April. Nearly lost my husband and then I took a back set in my health. Try us again, Please! Don't know if you'll get this e-mail but I'm hoping.

Hi 63. I would like to welcome you to the forum right now. I was very new to to site when you joined and was still getting the feel of the lay of the land so to speak. I never introduced myself in this way. Think mine was through what I posted in my profile. Then I just got too busy exploring the site and all it had to offer me. Suppose I should take the time to welcome everyone each day. Didn't mean to offend you and really hope you stay with us and share with us. We are glad you are here and looking forward to sharing this site with you. Again welcome and please give us a chance.

Welcome Nanna! I too am a nanna, and it's great! I also crochet and sew for over 30 years and learned to knit 6 months ago, I love it!

Ha Ha I didn't get a welcome and I know why. I just started butting in on different thread just like I knew what I was doing. I didn't get down to the "introduce yourself" for quite a while. Went to the pictures first then off to other threads. I'm slow and i could sit here all day just snooping. In fact I think my yarn is singing "I'm so lonely " now. Una
