I have just found this site and it looks very friendly and helpful.I lost my husband of 49 yrs in january and i needed to pass the time so i have taken up knitting again.

Welcome to KP. It truly will help you with the loss of your husband. When I lost my first husband I found that knitting let me turn my mine off or I guess I should turned it on to knitting. It allowed me rest and recharge.

I am disabled and unable to get out of the house, so I am always here it you want to chat.
