I made this adorable bunnyclava for a Christmas foster child and it came out so cute. I am also making one for my granddaughter. BUT my 20 year old son wants one. Yes, you heard me right. How would I go about figuring cast on, etc for an adult size?

I'd find an adult one, then adjust that to the features of the bunny one that your DS wants (the ears, too?? he really wants bunny ears?? - I like your DS!!)

YES, he wants the ears too. LMAO. Thanks for the link. It's the adjusting that I don't quite understand.

I would try adjusting the original pattern by the percentage that you need to increase to fit his head. Example if the child hat is 16 inches around and your son's needs to be 20 inches around that is a 25% increase (4 inches over 16 inches). So increase your cast on by 25% and work the length to fit his head and adjust the shapings and ears by 25%. I think your DS has a great sense of humour
