I'm making this doll from lilly sugar and cream pattern

I've never made yarn hair before and even after reading directions not sure how to do it or where to sew the hair..around the circumference of the head?...is there an easier way than dragging out my sewing machine...lol

You could attach it strand by strand using a crochet hook. It does look like you sew it all around the head, fold it back on itself at the stitch line, and then pull it into a ponytail. A diagram or better photo would be helpful.

Yes I need diagrams and step by little step instructions when I do anything...lol
