I made an afghan for my sports crazed son who is a rabid NY Giants fan. I found a chart for knitting a Giants logo on the afghan in intarsia but have no idea how to do it. Any help would be appreciated, either instructions or links to a book or article that explains it. My son has been waiting for a year for me to finish this! Please help...

Intarsia is a colorwork technique in which blocks of color are worked with separate balls of yarn or bobbins. Will post information for you

My boys are Giants fans too. May I ask where you got the pattern? I've never done intarsia either but just might have to learn.

I got the Giants logo chart from Ravelry; it is available in intarsia and stranded knitting. The chart is for a hat, but you can blow it up for a larger logo.

Be very careful since intarsia can become very addicting like socks, shawls, lace etc. Take an anti-intarsia pill or supplement before beginning each project to prevent you from wanting to do MORE, MORE, MORE!!! :lol: :lol:
