Hi,

I have a pattern that says gather-2. I can't find out what it means. Checked Yourtube, to no avail. I thought maybe it was a foreign term. All you Europeon knitters, is this one of your terms?

Hi,

First row says K1, K2 together, yo, gather-2, yo, ssk, K4.

It is a knitting stitch called Faggoting 4.

Thank you for the additional information.
Here is what I found:

Gather-2:
Knit the next two stitches together and leave them on the left needle; knit into the back loop of the same two stitches then slip them from the left needle.
The result is a small knot worked on two stitches; there is no change in the number of stitches.
