I am completely lost on row 43 of the chart on the Sabrina Shawl on Ravelry. http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/sabrina-8
I am doing the version 1 and every time on this row I come up with having an extra stitch on each side. I was just wondering if anyone else had done this pattern. I have looked for corrections in the pattern and can't find any on this certain row. I have ripped this out twice now and it is driving me crazy!! So if anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

I've never done this shawl, but looking at the charts makes me want to get down on my knees and give thanks for Dee's (Stevieland) charts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only thing I can advise you about is technique (that I've learned from Dee). First of all, how do your row 43 stitches line up with those below? Were all of the stitches lining up correctly in row 41! Did you miss a decrease? Is there an extra YO in the previous pattern row, etc.?

What I've found in my own lace knitting experience is to go back over the row in question very slowly and methodically making sure every stitch is correct. Even then, when a row comes out "correctly", when I purl back I'll occasionally find an error. Dee has taught us to say the stitch sequence back to ourselves as we purl across. I can't tell you how many times I've found yarnovers that shouldn't be there, or double decreases without the psso being done, just sitting there waiting to be completed!

Check chart for version 1, you will see that the right side has one extra yo, whereby the left doesn't, just knit 7 stitches, instead of knit 3 yo then knit 3. Already compared to version 2, definitely an error.

Thank you thank you thank you!!!! It was that darn yo that was messing it up. Hopefully there isn't any more mistakes in it or I may just give this one up. I really appreciate the help.
