I'm battling away, trying to finish a cardigan for my own Dad at the moment, but I'm sure I could spare enough time for 1 square - it wouldn't take too long! ;)

send me a PM with your address - and it would help to know what your deadline date is?

What do you mean by double wool? how many stitches to the inch does it knit on you needle size?

What colors? I have some dk wool in my stash, you DO want 100 % wool, correct?
When it's all finished you've got to post a pic!! With your dad, maybe??

I would be willing to help you out, just a bit of a problem. I live in Australia and postage can take a while. PM me with your address and any other information you think I might need to do some squares. Colour and tension is the main thing.

I can help but I crochet faster than knit would crocheted squares be ok? I could Tunisian crochet them, they would look knit but would be a lot heavier/thicker might not work with the rest. If you could let me know? I will pm you as well.

I like your quote - so fitting (tongue firmly in cheek) So, you think it's cheeky??
