Hi I'm Jean, I have been married to Tony,for 50 years.We have 3 children,8 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren. I love knitting especially in the winter as its very cold where we live & we don't have central heating just log fires. In the summer we spend most of the time gardening.i love growing things from seed.We have 2 elderly dogs & 14 cats some in their late teens.We also have a small flock of Bantam hens for their fresh eggs. :lol:

Thank you my Mums name, was Dorothy Jean & she was a fantastic crafts person.She knitted,crochet,did quilting,rag rugs,dress making, she made all my bridesmaids dresses as well as my wedding dress & her own outfit.

Thank you Hazel Anne but just like everyone we do have ups & down especially as we speak very little French even after eight & a half years here.But all in all apart from missing our family in the UK we are very happy.But at least we are only an hour from the Channel Tunnel & the other end only 15 minutes from family.
