Hi from Michigan :) :)
I have taught myself how to knit and read the instructions. I consider myself an intermediate in experience. I have been knitting blankets for the last 5 years and have finally ventured off in knitting other things

Welcome from California! If you can knit blankets and you said you can read instructions, you are ready for anything you decide to make. Hope you'll post some pictures of your work.

Welcome from SW Michigan. Michigan has quite a large number of members represented here on KP. We're planning a Michigan Get Together in September. (Still waiting to hear back from one of the instructors for doing a seminar ~ so don't have an exact date yet. It won't be Labor Day weekend, tho'.)
