I have the 965i and the bulky. The 350 is under the bed. Cone yarn is hard to get so I use the bulky the most

There was, I don't know if they still there south of Holgate, one 46th or 48th Ave. They had machines for sale and lots and lots of cone yarn, let me think a little bit I may find the address.
Welcome Portland!! I'm in Florida and my husband and I spent a week in Portland last September. Loved your town and surrounding area. I don't have a knitting machine, but I've often thought about it.
I'm glad you liked our town, I can't think anywhere else I would live, except my native country. I have never been in Florida, I have family there, but doubt I will make it. Not because I don't want to, but due to health and economy. Are there lots of Yarn Shops where you live? I can't associate in my mind Florida and warm clothes.
There are several yarn shops in the surrounding area, but not a single one in my town unless you count WalMart, which I don't.
One thing folks don't think about is that in Florida, we have to use LOTS of air conditioning and that can make you quite chilly in the evenings. I knit lots of socks. Recently, I've had family requests for fingerless gloves. Offices are often waaaaay too cool and hands get very cold on a computer mouse. I like to knit sweaters and scarves for a granddaughter in Ohio. Too bad you won't be able to come to Florida. It's really nice here. Believe it or not, it was 86 degrees today.
Hi from another from the Portland area. I like to hand knit. Right now we sure have a lot of rainy days to get projects done don't we? I did take advantage of the couple of dry days we've had to get some of the gardening chores done. Suppose to be dry tomorrow too before another onslaught of rain. Here comes more knitting time....
