I love to garden as well as knit too. We just bought a greenhouse so I'm looking forward to learning about that - in between all my knitting projects.I think we are in a different zone than you. It's been mild enough here (although rainy)that things are budding and the Daffadils and Crocus' are up. I like to take my knitting outside in the summer and sit on the patio listening to the birds sing as I knit. So relaxing.....

Hi back from Carol in Wisconsin and welcome to the forum!

Tell us about some of your projects and what you are making now.

I'm looking forward to spring - it must come sometime - and seeing what survived in my flower bed I started last year. I'm a definite beginner in that area. It will be nice to sit outside and knit and crochet too.

Hi,

Everybody made me feel very welcome. I'm on here a lot but mostly just read what everyone else is doing. This is the first time I have actually said anything.

I live in Marshall. Have for a very long time. Am originally from Kentucky. Husband was transferred here years ago and so here we are.

I knit just about anything. Sweaters, socks, scarves, baby things etc. Keeps me sane especially in the winter. Work outside a lot in the summer so not a much knitting. Always have something going tho.

Thanks for replying.

I grew up in Battle Creek but left 40 years ago and have lived in Dallas, Texas for the past 33 years. My Mom still lives there close to Marshall and goes to church there. If you don't already know about it, there is a GREAT yarn shop in Lakeview right in front of Meijers on Columbia Ave. It's called "Your Yarn Shop" and one of the owner's is Kelli. Really great shop! So glad to meet you!!!

Hi Everyone,

I've lived in Michigan all my life and I love it! I live in Shelby Twp and I'm ready for spring! I am a gardener also. I taught myself how to can my abundance of left over tomatoes. Love to knit and crochet. Just finished up a prayer shawl for a friend in a nursing home.

Welcome!
