I am trying to make a sweater from Beth Walker-O'Brien's designs. The left and right front don't seem to match the back. Anyone else have this problem?
This is why I make the fronts and the backs at the same time on the same needle. If I slip up on gauge, it's the same on all three.
Check your parts with the instructions. Did U miss or add rows or repeats?
Count your rows. Do U have the same # of rows on BOTH fronts as the back up to the underarms? If not, I'd frog [rip-it, rip-it, rip-it] the TOO SHORT PIECE(S) and re-knit to match. U may have to frog almost completely or at least back to the underarm.
You DO know that the back armhole is always longer than the front, don't U? I was a patternmaker for women's clothes for many years.
