Hi all I've been reading newsletter for a while and thought I would try and become more involved. I've been knitting since I was 6yrs old, in the bad old days in Scotland we learned at school, plus come from a family where my mother and both granny's knitted and crochet. I've had spells where not much knitting was done, then along came the grandchildren, I have 4 very beautiful granddaughters. looking forward to becoming more involved.

Welcome! I think that knitting/crocheting and handwork in general should still be taught at schools. Great tension and stress relief. They don't even get decent recesses here anymore.
