I am notorious for making up my own patterns and then not writing them down. I do this because I usually can't follow patterns well. However, I did make a scarf and may have used a pattern but have no idea where it came from. Of course now someone wants me to make them one and can't figure it out. It is nothing more than a ripple effect as you would get in a crocheted ripple but can't figure it out for the life of me. Could really use suggestions and would be SSOOOO greatful. I have tried everything I can think of and looked through patterns I have and found nothing. Not even on line. All Suggestions welcome!!!!! Thanks in advance! :D

well this is one I use with sock yarn. Cast on 20 stiches, 1st row: K1, K2tog, K7, yo, K1, yo, K7, K2tog, K2tog, K7, yo, K1, yo, K7, K2tog, K1
2nd row: K all stitches.

Repeat these two rows until you have reaches desired length, bind off on a row 1

For sock yarn I use a size 6 needle, for DK weight I use a 7 or 8. It forms a ripple scarf.
