I played around with Owl Be There owl hat pattern from Lauren Riker Girly Knits.

Unable to get guage to match the pattern because I used Bernat baby Blanket instead of the Lion Wool Ease or Loppy, but happy with how it turned out. Like how it looked without the beak and how ear flaps turned up. Don't plan on blocking it, so after I wash it, not sure what will happen to that ...effect.
