I am trying to find a knitted bolero, cardigan or shrug like this one. I found this but most of the comments say that the pattern has so many mistakes and the author won't help. So needless to say I don't want to buy it, does anyone else have one they can share with me? I am trying to make one for my daughter who is graduating in June and I need all the time I can get to finish it as I am very slow at knitting. I am looking for one with the longer short sleeves or 3/4 length sleeves, and with the simple feminine scallop edging.

Here’s a Ravelry search on boleros, maybe one of these would work?

Perhaps you might want to add "Drops" to the search.
I would but I have had a horrible time trying to make something for myself from them, I absolutely love 99% of their patterns but I am not good enough at knitting yet to make something, I really don't have time to waste, has to be done by June and I am so slow at knitting.

I feel the same way about the Drops patterns and all I have knitted from them are booties.
I hope you have good luck finding what you need and be sure to let us know what you decide. We are all curious.

I know I have at least one (if not more) of something in that design. But first, what size is your daughter and what weight of yarn do you want to use? I can send you the pattern if those things match.

Wow, thank you! She wears a medium and I want it lightweight because she will be wearing it under that lovely polyester gown that you wear when graduating high-school, so nothing bulky. I was really wanting to make it out of angora or something soft and light but I think that'll be too expensive. Again, thanks for your help!!!
