I just made the Summerflies Shawl with this yarn it is my first shawl and first time using this yarn can somebody tell me how to block this yarn? Love the feel and drape of this yarn. Thanks. Lynn

I've worked with sugar cane yarn, although not this particular brand. I simply put the article on a bath towel and covered it with a damp cloth and let it dry on its own.

it's handwash, so I'd soak it to wash it, spread it out and pin or use blocking wires.

There does seem to be a lack of blocking information on this type of yarn available.

Other than that, I am coming up empty. I tried multiple search terms, but I mostly found yarns for sale.

Thanks for all your help I also found a lack of info on this yarn. I bought it on a cruise as a memento to wear on future cruises so don't want to ruin it. I will do as suggested. Thanks again everyone I appreciate the quick responses. Lynn

That is exactly what I did.

I suspect this is rayon made from sugar cane, the same way that bamboo yarn is rayon made from bamboo.

Practice on your swatch first as if it were rayon, to make sure!
