There is a knit and crochet gauge. Go to the company that you got your hook from and tell them that you want the hooks but you neeed to know the size. This will be difficult if they send you the information as you won't know which end they are talking about.
I haven't tried this but use your computer and see if there is a possibility they have pictures that are the exact size of the needles. If you are able to find something like this could you let me know so I can give that information to others as I have a guage on hand that I can check my items out.

I just took out my gauge which is the same as the picture, the measurement is a "hair" difference. If you look at the top the difference is 2 m.Take the tip of the needle and see which hole it goes into and you have the size of your needle. So feel safe using it and before I sign out just to let you know there is nothing at all on the back of the gauge.

Just wanted to get back on here and compliment Cindy on getting a picture of the gauge so close the "real" one. Cudos
