I'm so glad I found this site! Glad to know there are still some knitters out there - I thought it was almost a lost art. Welcome all of you who are new to knitting - it's a wonderful hobby.

I have been knitting for over 30 years, but have absolutely no patience knitting a huge adult size garment. I have made mostly baby sweaters, baby blankets, big needle afghans (for Project Linus), chemo and premie caps for the local hospitals. My main focus has been knitting Barbie fashions. Have entered my creations in our local county fair and won blue ribbons. I'm now working on a website to display a large collection of Barbie dolls modeling various outfits (not for sale - just for display purposes).
I have been working on a ready-made, build-your-own website and now have to figure out how to set it up so I can give you the link "thingie". As you can see, I'm not very computer literate.
Also working on converting my tiny Barbie patterns into much larger ones that will fit the 18-inch American Doll. I have a 2 year old grand-daughter, who will eventually get a big popcorn can filled with doll clothes (the metal can keeps out the moths!).
Would love to chat with you.....
