So glad I found KP last month - even though it is a very addictive! Learned to crochet in my teens (thanks Mom) and taught myself how to knit from a learn to book a lifetime ago....and then got away from both for a while. Picked up my knitting needles again a couple years ago and am officially a knit-a-holic and a yarn-a-holic, but I'm okay with that, apparently I'm in good company =D Love how friendly and helpful everyone is here...thanks for sharing your projects and knowledge!

Welcome from another Ocean County, NJ gal who also found KP to be a great site. In a few days, you can grab a hook or needles and some yarn...then head for one of our beuatiful beaches...OFF SEASON! I also paint so, sometimes I'm on the boards, perched on a bench, either crocheting or painting. Walking the boards with my husband and/or walking the beaches along the water...glorious. You will soon be hooked on this site.

Hi! I just moved from Toms River to AZ. Toms River and Lacey are wonderful places. My kids graduated from Toms River North, I graduated from Toms River South. Small world!! My family actually helped start Toms River back in 1703.
Nice to meet someone from back home. Welcome to KP!

Same here! Actually it was 1970, the year TRN opened, so they kept the senior class together so they could graduate together that last year. My husband graduated in 1969 from South and my dad taught school at both North and South. What year did you graduate?
